Updated Statement re Corona Virus Policies at Catalina Spa and RV Resort (5/20/20)
We continue to do everything we can to protect our guests and team members by following Stay-in-Place guidelines from California State and Riverside County. In recent weeks, re-opening phase steps have been communicated across our region — these continuously inform and adjust our policy about our park operations. We remain flexible in order to adapt as we move forward.
With that in mind, please know that…
Our Resort continues to be OPEN to all RV campers.
Measures that are currently in place at our resort are:
- We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our public areas and high-touch surfaces utilizing an EPA-registered cleaning product.
- Arriving guests can check-in outside of the office if they prefer, allowing for minimal contact with team members. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week.
- ALL CatSpa guests will need to observe ongoing social distancing requirements. This means staying a minimum of six feet apart when away from your site, and not congregating in groups of more than 10. Guests are urged (but not required) to wear face masks when away from their sites, and especially in our store and bathhouses.
- Unfortunately, visitors from outside the resort are not permitted – even for a short while. This is not our rule, it is a state requirement.
- Resort-sponsored events and activities have been discontinued. However, per 5/8/20 Riverside County statements re re-opening phases, one of our two pools is now open, with social distancing restrictions.
- CatSpa pickleball courts remain open under social distancing guidelines.
- Limited bathrooms as well as laundry facilities will remain available for use at your discretion. These areas will continue to be cleaned and disinfected during posted hours.
As an outdoor property where all guests can shelter within their own protected environment, we have the ability to help our fellow citizens get through this crisis in these ways:
- RV travelers stuck away from their home or are in the process of traveling back to their home as well as the legion of full-time RVers.
- Individuals or families who choose to shelter within their RV, the ability to be closer to nature and safe outdoor environments.
